This was made on a poodle walk on the Sunday morning before I left for the road trip on the Mallee Highway.
It is part of the rocks just west of Petrel Cover near Rosetta Head.

It was in the late afternoon in early autumn. I recall being thrown by how much the light had changed due to the sun being lower in the sky.
I'd walked past this rock formation for a year or more on the daily poodlewalks without noticing it:
I only noticed it when we had to hang about waiting for some people and their dog to pass our location by on the coastal path.
