During the high summer months the early morning is the best time for photography for The Littoral Zone project along the coast of the southern Fleurieu Peninsula.
That is when the light is soft and gentle. However, it quickly becomes harsh and very contrasty. Then I am forced to photograph in the open shade, if I want to continue to work on the Littoral Zone project.
