This study of sandstone cliffs is from a recent visit in March 2024 with friends to the Great Otway National Park in Victoria. We were able to stay at the Cape Otway Light Station and they walked sections of the great ocean walk.
I walked along the coast east of Point Franklin towards Parker Inlet at low tide scoping with a digital camera for a 5x4 photo session. Sadly, I didn't do a 5x4 version of this picture. Access to this coastal area could only be at low tide The picture that I did make with e 5x4 have yet to be processed by the professional photo lab.
I had intended to return on my own in October whilst Suzanne was walking the Bibbulmum Track in WA. My plan was to set up a camp at the Parker Hill campsite, which I'd checked out whilst I was here in March. The Blanket Bay campsite was very popular and it was fully booked. There was no one at Parker Hill. Hence my choosing Parker Hill.
Alas, this return visit didn't eventuate as I was looking after Maya, our standard poodle, at the time. I could not have taken her into the national park and I did not want to use a dog sitter. So the return visit will have to wait until 2025.
